QC May 2020 Newsletter
Thank you everyone for your support during this difficult time. We are overwhelmed by orders on our curbside pick up days. You are all doing such a commendable job for our community by making masks and caps for our front-line workers, the vulnerable and anyone in need.
Once the Ontario government allowed businesses with street access to open for curbside pick up, we had a plan to extend our pick up hours. Now, before we could communicate our intentions in this newsletter, the government has allowed these businesses to open up to in-store shopping. At Quilting Confections, we have decided to continue with curbside pick up only for the time being. We want our staff and customers to be protected and intend to proceed with caution before re-opening. Look to quiltingconfections.com, our Facebook page and Google, as the situation evolves. Our hours are now Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 - 2:00 for curbside pick up only.
It is very helpful if you email your orders to firstname.lastname@example.org. This allows for better tracking of orders by the staff. We will continue to try to fill your orders in a timely manner. As soon as it is gathered, you will be contacted for payment and notified when you can pick up your order. We try to fill orders by date and time received to keep things fair, as the fabric sells quickly. All sale fabrics are posted on Facebook with a date and we will now try to remove old posts to avoid confusion. The discount is 25% off 1 metre minimum and 40% off if you finish a bolt. There may be other specials posted with different discounts offered.
Classes continue to be canceled for the foreseeable future. Every one who has been registered in classes with a start date from mid-March to the end of April has been refunded with a gift card. If you think you were missed, please let us know. Soon, refunds for May and June will be distributed.
Square Dance BOM
As you can imagine, the supply chain has been affected by the pandemic. We are missing some of the fabric needed to finish making the June kits. We will delay distributing the June kits until the rest of the fabric arrives. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
