  • Quilting Confections Covid 19 Update

    Hello Everyone, As of today, Quilting Confections is now closed to the public.  For the time being, I plan to be at the store on Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10:00 – 2:00 to take credit card payments over the phone and deliver to your car.  You can also send an order to info@quiltingconfections.com at any time.  Depending on how things go, I may increase the number of days that I am here.         Hello everyone, I have been silent regarding the COVID-19 situation until now so as not to add to the already numerous articles you are receiving, as well as trying not to succumb to the panic.   I now feel, though, that I should reach out to you.  Quilting Confections is remaining open at this time, however if you are sick, we ask that you stay home and take care of yourself.     What's New?

    Cork fabric is now available at QC.  There are 10 colours to choose from in a precut size of 13" x 18".  Our cork is an environmentally sustainable product from Portugal.  Use it in bags and embroidery projects.  Look for upcoming classes from Tina using cork, including the Sassy Stripe Zipper Bag.

    I hope you are enjoying your holiday with family and friends.  And maybe even making into your sewing room once in a while!

    In January, we have a full schedule of clubs and classes on offer.  Learn something new and meet some new people.  Open up your calendar and start planning some time for yourself in the new year!

    We will be holding our UFO challenge again in January.  Bring in your unfinished project (crib size or larger) to the store in January and fill out a ballot.  You have up to three chances to win with each quilt entered.  An extra ballot is earned if the quilt is from a class taken at QC and another ballot is earned if more than half of the fabric was purchased at QC.  When you bring back the finished project (quilted and bound) by demo day in February, you have a chance to win a $50 gift card!
